2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Is All Gobsmacking

If you have been a fan of GT4, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, you make you go gaga for it. Porsche has done a total updo of the car inspired by its 911. The evidence starts from the front end, which seems embodied in the 991-generation 911 Carrera 4S right into the GT4’s body structure. These brakes allow you to reduce the speed quickly even if you brake late going into corners with having the peace of mind that front end to dive or the rear end to shimmy during hard stops. Porsche’s torque-vectoring tech with mechanical limited-slip differential manages power between the rear wheels.

RS is 49 pounds lighter than Cayman GT4 with PDK. Further, you can reduce 22 pounds with magnesium forged wheels. The only thing that may give you a second thought about these wheels is a $15,640 upgrade. The Weissach package makes a great difference due to the substantial weight reduction. Turn-in being sharper makes the steering wheel feels more dynamic. Further, the Weissach goodies include body panels and engine bits with exposed carbon fiber, titanium tailpipes that turn blue-purple on being hot, and Porsche lettering on the rear window. Further, there is Race-Tex suede on the dashboard, which is also a discrete feature of RS which differentiates its interior from the non-RS interiors. Even the colors used on the front of the dash and the center console are such that it matches with that of the gear pattern on the shifter. To add more support when getting in and out of the Porsche, there are single-piece carbon-fiber seats. The Arctic Grey car costs a crazy $195,190. The ultimate expression of the Porsche 718 Cayman can be clearly seen in GT4 RS.
